C: Tell us a little bit about your background in makeup…how did you get started?
SCM: I’ve always worked in cosmetics. I’ve always been fascinated by the art of it! Before starting Silverceiling in 2013, I worked as a regional trainer for Clinique- teaching other make-up artists the power of the make-up experience and consultation. I planned and executed lifestyle shows and hosted trainings for numerous organizations.
While in this position, I started getting into the wedding industry and found that I really loved it! It started with just a few of my clients asking me to do their weddings… and then once I got into it, I realized the wedding industry was my niche and what I enjoyed doing the most. I fell in love with making brides feel beautiful on their wedding day!
With my background in training, it was natural for me to start building a team. We have hired some of the best hair and makeup artists in the area- and all of them go through an orientation where they learn all about our specialty: AIRBRUSH! 🙂
C: What makes Silverceiling so special and how long have you been in business?
SCM: We have been in business for nearly 4 years.
Certainly our custom-fit approach, and the fact that we use 100% Airbrush Makeup. We love seeing inspiration photos from our brides and using our creativity and artistry skills to really create their unique bridal look. We set all of our makeup with a waterproofing spray that requires little to no touch ups on the big day!
C: What do services that you offer do brides get most excited about?
SCM: I think our brides really enjoy the whole process. We also offer several bridal prep services: AirTan, Glycolic Peels/ Facials, GlamSeamless hair extensions, full airbrush makeup and hairstyling.
My brides that go with the GlamSeamless hair extensions love them! We offer both the clip ins and tape ins. With these extensions, your dream hair is a reality! The tape ins last up to 4 months with no maintenance required!
C: What excites you most about this workshop?
SCM: I’m excited to teach how to really match your hairstyle/ makeup with your wedding. At Silverceiling, we take into account your colors- your theme- your venue- all of it, to ensure a cohesive look. There’s so much that we have learned over the past 4 years- I think we can offer our brides some great advice to allow them to start thinking about different styles with both hair and makeup!
C: What do you think will be the biggest thing brides will take away from this workshop?
SCM: Seeing the airbrush in action! So many brides have heard buzz about airbrush but to see it on your skin is a totally different story. It has such a flawless look, and I love showing the application method!
C: Is there anything else you want brides to know about why they should attend this fabulous event?
