Did you have an idea of what style wedding or the style of dress you wanted at the time?
I had an idea of what I wanted and what I didn’t want. I had tried on a million dresses and my dress was hanging on the rack and it was a strapless dress (which I always said I wouldn’t wear) and Emily who was helping me, pulled it down and said “Just try this one on, I know you don’t want strapless but let’s just see!” So i tried it on and when I saw myself in the mirror I imagined myself walking down the aisle in that dress and I teared up and said “Well I guess the tears mean this is the one!” I loved it, I felt like it was made for my body!
What was your favorite thing about wedding dress shopping?
Getting to try on all the different gowns and seeing how the different styles worked for me and which ones didn’t.
How was shopping at Camille’s different than other stores you went to?
It was so intimate and the staff was amazing. Every time I would put my dress on everyone would compliment me and they would do the same for anyone else that was in there. They were all so sweet. It had a family vibe..everyone worked together. That made the experience pretty incredible!
