Did you have an idea of what style wedding or the style of dress you wanted at the time?
I knew exactly how I wanted my wedding to look. I wasn’t positively sure on a style of dress, I was open to options, however I did find one specifically online and believe it or not, it was the very first dress I tried on, and it was THE dress. I ended up choosing it as the dress for our big day! How crazy?!
How did you decide on THE dress?
I walked into the store looking for the one I found online. I knew the instant I put it on it was the dress. I felt like a princess. It fit perfectly. And something inside me just said that this is it. This is the one I will meet my husband at the end of the aisle in.
What was your favorite thing about wedding dress shopping?
My favorite thing about wedding dress shopping was simply the experience. I had dreamt of that day since I was a little girl. Trying on dresses, feeling like a princess for a day, knowing that I was picking the dress of my dreams for one of the biggest days of my life. And even though I didn’t have all my girls with me that day, I had my dad and brother there along with a couple of my girls, and we were sending pictures like crazy to the couple girls that couldn’t be with us. So many tears were shed, so much happiness and laughter was shared, everything about that day was perfect.
How was shopping at Camille’s different than other stores you went to?
I didn’t go to any contenders. Shopping at Camille’s was my first and only choice. JoAnne is like family, a mom I didn’t have, so sharing the experience of finding my dress with her, as well as supporting her baby was the least I could do. Camille’s makes you feel like family, whether you are not, by the end of your visit, you become family there.

My wedding dress, veil, beaded belt, shoes, Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids Dresses, all the tuxes for the Groom and Groomsmen, and GodMother of the Groom Dress!
