Camille’s was proud to partner with WWAY for the 1st Annual Wilmington Wedding Expo. The event was held on October 15, 2017 at Ironclad Brewery in historic downtown Wilmington. It was a runaway success!
With heavy promotion by WWAY on TV and Camille’s on social media, the hundreds of brides that showed up to the Expo knew in advance what to expect:

The event did not disappoint. Brides had the opportunity to meet with a who’s who of local wedding vendors. They were on site dishing out wedding planning advice and giving away amazing prizes and discounts including the grand prize: a free wedding dress from Camille’s!
Our booth at the Expo was staffed with Camille’s Chicks. They had such a wonderful time meeting and talking with the brides and their families. Many chose to make an appointment to come by the store to try out some of the styles modeled during the Fashion Show.
We heard great things from the other vendors too. They all were so pleased to meet all of the brides!
The highlight of the event was the Camille’s Fall Fashion Show for both Brides and Grooms. The Fall Fashion Show showcased the latest in wedding trends for both gowns and tuxedos. Music was on point, handled by Adam Lassiter from Coastal DJ & Video. The stage was beautifully lit and decorated by Keith Register at Illuminating Events. Adam and Keith created the perfect atmosphere for our models to WORK IT.
Our gorgeous female and male models were styled by Jennifer House from Makeup for Your Day who made sure everybody looked stunning with perfect hair and makeup. The combination of quality wedding vendors resulted in a truly memorable fashion show.
As soon as the first model took the stage, you could feel the energy pick up in the room. The crowd was into it and loved what they saw. Audible “wows” and gasps could be heard in response to the ladies rocking their dazzling dresses. Not to be outdone, the men strutted their stuff, with a wink and a smile as they showcased their handsome tuxes. The biggest “oohs” and “aahs” of the night may have been reserved for two adorable little ladies that showed off two cute flower girl dresses. Their twirls on stage were so adorable!
The girls were later seen talking to a princess! In reality it was one of our models in their wedding dress but to all the world she looked like a princess to these two young ladies. They were smitten!
Every bride that attended the Wilmington Wedding Expo was entered to with the grand prize, a free wedding dress from Camille’s. At the conclusion of the fashion shows, WWAY picked a winner and with all of the models on stage, we announced the lucky bride, Maya!
We’re happy to report that she’s already come by our shop and has chosen her dress. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the #camillesfamily.
