It’s cold inside but at Camille’s we’re already thinking about spring! Spring can only mean one thing: weddings. The question on everybody’s mind is, what’s hot for 2018?
Trends for this upcoming season include sheer corsets, pockets, classic silhouettes and a style we call “bohemian brides”.
When it comes to finding the right dress for you, start by identifying what kind of bride you are. Are you a classic bride, fashion forward bride, bohemian bride, or a destination bride?

Classic Bride
Have you always wanted your special day to be timeless? Like something out of a storybook? You may be a classic bride.
Classic brides typically want to have a more formal wedding, often opting to make it a black tie affair. Ballrooms, country clubs, gardens, museums, plantations, and vineyards make great wedding locations for this bride.
When it comes to her dress, a ball gown is the perfect option for brides that want that traditional classic look. From there the decision is whether to go with a look that’s more minimal, with smooth lines, or one that’s more glamorous with tulle, beaded embroidery, or intricate lace details.
Other classic bride looks include fitted gowns and sheath gowns.

Fashion Forward Bride
Fashion Forward Brides are “out of box”. They love everything original, something that nobody will have with unique fabrics and unusual details.

Fashion Forward Brides also have a lot of options when it comes to the style of their dress. These include halters, jeweled yokes, mini florals, off the shoulder styles, flutter sleeves, detachable trains, low open backs, crop tops, pant suits, short dresses, sparkle & bling, and more. What’s important is that the dress is a statement maker.

Here is our Bohemian Bride
A Bohemian Bride loves a more organic and natural look. With echoes of being a “flower child”, the bohemian look is a younger, natural, and more flowing look. Gowns are all airy, romantic and make with unique laces. They are very easy to wear. These dresses are very comfortable. Dresses are accented with options like hand-placed lace, bell sleeves, floral prints and flowy skirts.

Destination/Beach Brides
Lastly we have our Destination Brides, aka Beach Brides. These ladies are the ones getting married on the white sandy beaches or in exotic locations or closer to home at our beautiful beaches. It’s Boho Bride with a sophisticated edge. Beach ready details such as halter necklines, crisscross backs, and shimmering beadwork create a stunning, memorable look. Destination dresses are elegant while remaining both comfortable and easy to wear.
