We’re thrilled to announce that earlier this year we launched our Prom Influencer Program in 2023! Our team of stylists is excited to connect with our local high school students, making sure that this year’s prom is the best one ever! We hope our Influencers will bring awareness to our local brand and how greatly our Prom assortment has grown in the last few years. Our Influencers AND their referrals will receive exclusive purchase incentives – so everybody wins!
To celebrate this new program and welcome our inaugural class of Influencers, we held an exclusive after hours mixer for the girls to come meet each other and have some fun dressing up in our beautiful collections of prom dresses. We want to give a HUGE THANK-YOU to our industry partners who made the event so special for our Influencers and the Camille's staff -- they truly made this an incredible experience, one to remember!
The vibe was set by one of Wilmington's very own DJ's Don Jewell of Jewell Entertainment Group, spinning all kinds of upbeat music and lighting up the store in the most fun way throughout the event.
Our friends at Spinning Cotton filled the boutique with the sweetest aroma of craft flavors of cotton candy -- watermelon and blood orange, topped with Pop Rocks and Nerds candy pieces, no less -- and their team was even sweeter than their confections!
Monique from Fairy Hair Flare gave all the girls a whimsical hair makeover with a rainbow of tinsel strands to choose from and had some of the best energy in the store!
And Jeff Poole of Indigo Silver was on the spot with his professional photography skills, capturing all the fun of the event and our beautiful girls who came out to have a fun evening in our boutique!
Our Influencers are a class of beauty in and of themselves and their inner beauty truly radiates through to their outer beauty. We couldn't be more proud of the unique group of girls we have representing our brand and are excited to see their social media posts and stories featuring their individualism and sparkling personalities in our dresses! For more information about our Prom Influencer Program, CLICK HERE. If you are a high school age girl attending prom and received a referral card from one of our Influencers, be sure to come shopping as soon as possible to redeem your $25 in Camille's Cash toward your prom dress! We also register each dress purchased to the individual client's school so that you don't have to worry about another girl wearing the same dress as you if you both purchased with us. PHEW! :)
ICYMI: Prom dress shopping at Camille's is done on a walk-ins only basis, no appointments, as this is our busy season, especially on the weekends. If you'd like to come shop during a quieter time, weekdays are the best option for that. We are open 10am-6pm Tuesday through Friday, so be sure to pop on by the boutique after school any of those days for a more leisurely shopping experience and shorter wait times (if any).
Last but not least, we've designed a fabulous new selfie area for our prom clients, so make sure to get your picture taken to be featured on our Instagram stories! So, even if you're not an "Influencer" per se, we love dressing you up and showing you off!
