It's hard to believe we're right on the cusp of Fall -- where did the summer go?!?!! Luckily, we have a few glimpses of what we've been up to this summer with our friends at REEDS Jewelers for our second collaboration of the year! We had such an amazing time in our first collab and "Tuesday Takeovers" on Instagram that we decided to partner together on a "mini" styled shoot at one of our favorite venues in town -- the Lumina Resort at Wrightsville Beach. In our first shoot together at our boutique, we paired some deeply stunning diamond engagement collections from REEDS with our top trends in bridal gowns. This time around, we added several of our formal suits paired with luxury timepieces from REEDS into the mix. First up... a salute to the Red, White, and Blue in honor of Independence Day featuring "Scarlet" by Maggie Sottero and our ever popular Michael Kors Blue Ultra Slim 3-piece suit. In case you're loving the silhouette of "Scarlet" but feeling a little thrown by the crimson-red color, just know that she is available to order in all-Ivory too (phew!). Next up: Some fun in the sun with our ADORE by Justin Alexander Bridal Pantsuit paired with the ultra-cool Lord West "Havana" suit pieces! We've been receiving lots of requests for bridal pantsuits from brides looking for a fun getaway outfit, a destination wedding/elopement look, and/or simply skipping the traditional dress altogether. Whatever the thought behind it, we're here for it! Also... IT HAS POCKETS! Plus, the "Havana" suit we paired with it is brand new this year for our menswear collections and we absolutely love it for spring/summer weddings to keep our guys cool under the sun, especially when disassembled for a more casual vibe.

In case you were wondering what the "Havana" suit looks like fully assembled, we made sure to capture it all together, paired with our "Jessica" dress from Rebecca Ingram! It was a little warm outside (it being mid-June and all), so we captured this wardrobe pairing in the coastal-chic indoor seating area at the Lumina Resort. These two looks are the perfect transitional look from summer to fall, combining lighter hues and fabrications with a more neutral color palette.

But wait -- there's more! :) For our Labor Day inspiration, we brought back the Red, White, and Blue color story and gave it a more classic twist with our "Siva" dress from Sottero & Midgley. We loved the linear elements of the beadwork pattern on the dress and decided to keep our styling in line with the aesthetic by adding a delicate linear pearl headband and sparkling linear pavé diamond wedding band. We also disassembled the Michael Kors blue suit for more of a "GQ" moment.

And for our Grand Finale: "Demetrios + Hunter" -- that is, our Demetrios Platinum gown #DP480 with all-over embellishments and 3D florals paired with our brand new "Hunter" Green 3pc suit, just released this season by Jim's Formalwear for purchase through our boutique! This pairing is the epitome of elegance for Fall/Winter weddings and we love how regal this couple looks together in these ensembles!
