On that note, even clients as tall as our beautiful 5'10" in-store model, Emma, need a hem right out of the gate. You'll want to allow enough time to have the hem trimmed and any other modifications made before your event (i.e. - straps adjusted, a bustle added for gowns with trains, cinching in the waist, etc.), and if you're given tight turn-arounds again next year, it can be a bit stressful having alterations done on short notice. On the flip side, if you do decide to get ahead of the game during our end of season sale, you'll have PLENTY of time to have your gown(s) altered to fit you picture-perfectly in time for your next formal event or pageant appearance!
