what to expect


Place your order online or purchase in store with one of our stylists at Camille’s of Wilmington. The kit includes a shipping label, gown box, and all additional materials and instructions on how to send your gown.


Complete the included paperwork, making sure to add your name so your gown can be properly identified throughout the process. Apply the stain stickers to mark any areas needing extra attention and carefully prepare your package for shipment.


Ship your package directly to the Wedding Gown Preservation Co. via UPS using the provided shipping label. Your gown will then go through a professional cleaning and preservation process, which typically takes 8–12 weeks.


Once completed, your beautifully cleaned and preserved wedding dress and veil will be returned to Camille’s of Wilmington. We will contact you as soon as it arrives so you can either pick it up in-store or choose to have it shipped directly to you for your convenience.

wedding dress cleaning FAQs

Yes! Your gown is welcome here no matter where it was purchased. If you are a Camille's bride, please ask about our special discount.

Not at this time. All wedding dress cleaning and preservation kits must be ordered online or through one of our stylists. Camille’s of Wilmington stores do not accept gown drop-offs, as all kits are fulfilled and shipped directly through the preservation program.

 

Nope! Veil preservation is included in the kit.

Congrats! Once your order is placed through Camille’s of Wilmington, you'll either pick up your preservation kit in-store or have it shipped directly to you. Your kit will arrive within a few days and will include everything you need, along with step-by-step instructions from the Wedding Gown Preservation Co.
